In the Belgian official gazette of June 2 2017, the 10 royal decrees, which together form the Code on health and safety regulations at work, were published. The Code entered into force on June 12.
Aimed at improving the legibility and accessibility of legislation, the Code unites in one single code the various decrees that were issued as implementation decisions of the Act on health and safety regulations of August 4 1996.
The Code is a mere compilation of existing legislation so that no change in the content of these regulations is to be pointed out. However, in order to improve the readability and to ensure some form of administrative simplification, some points have nevertheless been adapted.
